SUMMARY:Alumni 47th Muenster Metric Century Bicycle Rally
DESCRIPTION:The Alumni will host the 47th Muenster Metric Century Bicycle Rally​ on Saturday\, April 24th\, 2027 at 9am! All proceeds from this event will benefit Sacred Heart Catholic School! The Alumni still needs volunteers to help with this event. Click HERE to sign up and get your family services hours in! \nEVENT DETAILS: ​The 100 Kilometer (63 mi.); 65 Kilometer (40 mi.); and 35 Kilometer (22 mi) over paved roads in this beautiful and scenic North Texas area. It is a fast and challenging course. Be prepared for some long and steep climbs up rolling hills and the exhilaration you’ll experience coming down! \nENTRY FEES: All entries postmarked by April 19th\, 2027\, will be $60 per rider. All entries postmarked after April 19th\, 2027\, and those who register the day of the ride will be $70 per rider. Registration and packet pick up will Friday from 9am-6pm at Sacred Heart Community Center 730 N Main Street. Click HERE to register for the race. ​ \nPacket Pick-up Saturday from 7am-8:30am @ Heritage Hall – 1902 Weber Ranch Rd.  \nPlease join us for refreshments at the Finish Area located at GermanFest\,  SE Corner of Hall\, held at Heritage Park! The first 700 riders will receive an event t-shirt! Free entry into GermanFest along with 2 FREE cold beers redeemable at the Muenster Jaycees beer trailer \nPLEASE NOTE: All entry fees are nonrefundable\, as this fundraiser is very important for assisting our Sacred Heart Catholic School Family. All proceeds raised go directly to the school to assist a variety of needs including building and maintenance expenses. Your support is greatly appreciated! \nPRE-REGISTRATION AND PACKET PICK-UP: Registration and packet pick up will be Friday\, April 23rd\, from 9am-6pm at Sacred Heart Community Center 730 N Main. PACKET PICK UP Saturday from 7am-8:30am @ Heritage Hall – 1902 Weber Ranch Rd. \nRULES: By law\, and for your safety and protection\, you MUST abide by all traffic laws throughout the ride. For your safety\, helmets are expected to be worn. All riders under 18 must be accompanied by an adult. \nREST STOPS/SAG WAGONS: Rest stops will be placed approximately 10-15 miles apart. Water\, fruit and other liquids will be available. Medical aid will be provided along the route and at the finish. In addition\, the route passes through areas where food and drink may be purchased. If at any point\, our medical personnel determines that you should not continue\, you will be detained and/or returned to the start by a sag wagon. \nMEDICAL FACILITIES: The Muenster Memorial Hospital and local doctors and nurses will be available to assist with any complications. Emergency ambulance service and qualified paramedics will also be available. \n​WEATHER: Weather in North Central Texas is variable. Usually\, the temperature will average 72 degrees at mid-afternoon. Wind usually plays a role during this annual event. Riders are cautioned to “plan your ride” considering temperature\, humidity\, & wind and then be careful to “ride your plan”. \n​RAIN OR SHINE: There will be a ride and there will be no refunds. Rally begins at 9 AM!
