Handbook & Curriculum

As we continue our transition to a Catholic classical curriculum, Sacred Heart offers students an educational experience steeped in tradition and faith. Rooted in the timeless wisdom of Catholic teachings and the classical liberal arts, our educational program has been developed to cultivate the mind, enrich the spirit and prepare students to become leaders in their communities and stewards of the Catholic faith.

Guided by the principles of virtue and moral formation, our courses of study instill in students a lifelong love of learning and a strong foundation for a life lived in service to God and others.

Through the study of Latin, literature, history, science, mathematics, and theology, students also develop a deep appreciation for the Truth, Beauty and Goodness of our Heavenly Father. Practically, and to meet requirements of the State of Texas, our curriculum also incorporates the Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills (TEKS) that apply. Evaluation of the curriculum is continuous and responsive to student needs.
